Combat Boot Drawing

At the time i drew this, i was in high school and my teacher was upset with me because all i ever wanted to draw was robots and monsters. So, he said i needed a "still life" for my portfolio. "Still life? Like what" i asked. "Something from real life, like your shoe" he said. So, i reached down, took my boot off , set in on my desk and drew it. It bored me, but I really concentrated on the tiny details. Looking at it now, i'm glad i did it. Those old combat boots are long gone, and it serves as a nice memory. I wish i had finished it.
